When I designed the Ready for Civic Life publication for Chicago Public Schools, my goal was to visually capture the heart of this important initiative. The project focused on preparing students to be informed, engaged, and ethical participants in democracy, so it was important that the design reflected those values while being accessible and engaging for a wide audience. I wanted the layout to feel purposeful and inviting, blending bold typography with clean, organized elements to make the content clear and easy to navigate.

This project was incredibly rewarding because it allowed me to combine my creativity with a meaningful cause. Turning a strategic plan into something visually compelling and impactful was a challenge I really enjoyed. Knowing my work helped communicate the importance of preparing students for civic life made it all the more fulfilling.
